Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work, learn, and communicate. But amid all the models, APIs, and promises, there was still a lack of infrastructure that would make voice truly work, everywhere.

SLNG was born at that intersection of technical ambition and human need, with a purpose as simple as it is radical: to give the world back its voice. Not as just another platform, but as the layer that connects them all. An open, global, and compliant infrastructure that enables the development of real-time voice products in any language and from anywhere.

The starting point was a fundamental question: what does a voice look like? SLNG takes its name from the term “slang”; a living, evolving, and accessible language, and its visual identity translates that idea into a system that unites voice, code, and accessibility. The logo, based on the phonetic transcription /slæŋ/, encapsulates the act of speaking, writing, and coding, representing the platform’s hybrid nature.

The result was a brand that brings order to chaos and turns it into accessibility: an infrastructure that, rather than speaking, listens and connects.
